To perform the procedure, it is sufficient to:
- Go to the website and find the WEB section.
- Click on “Edit Domain”.
- Check two items — “Let’s Encrypt Support” and “SSL Support”.
- Click “Save”.
To ensure that requests from the site using HTTP are automatically redirected to HTTPS, it is enough to select the “Force HTTP to HTTPS Redirect” option. This frees the user from having to perform a similar action on the site using additional settings.
Important! The SSL certificate is issued on the condition that the domain is parked to the server. If the domain points to another hosting or server, the creation of the certificate will be denied.
The SSL loading takes a short time, after which the certificate is issued, and the user receives information about it. The duration of validity is 3 months. To maintain the relevance of the certificate, the control panel automatically reissues it. The sslshopper service allows you to check how the SSL certificate works on the site and sends a corresponding report with the results.
