The specified control panel has user packages — lists of restrictions related to user operations. For example, one package allows the creation of one site. The restrictions pertain to page sizes in megabytes. It is impossible to exceed the limits set by the package.
In Hestia, by default, the user admin is assigned the system package. According to this, working with MySQL databases, creating more than one site, and accessing phpMyAdmin is prohibited. Such restrictions are not very convenient. The problem is solved by changing system to the default package: there are no restrictions here. To see the current package, the user goes to the USER section.
To make the change, a series of actions is performed:
- Hovering the cursor over the username and then selecting the “Edit” button.
- Changing system to default.
- Saving the changes with the appropriate button in the upper right corner.
When the changes are saved, the database section appears, and the ability to create a large number of sites is enabled.
To create your own custom package, there is a corresponding button on the USER tab. When clicked, a list of Packages in the control panel that are currently available appears. By the way, the default package has no restrictions, indicated by the “Infinity” sign. To create your own package, simply click “Add Package” and assign the user.
